Islamic Religious Curriculum at Kahf Islamic Boarding School

A structured diniyah education based on the understanding of the Salaf

As an Islamic educational institution committed to nurturing knowledgeable, well-mannered, and correctly guided students, Kahf Islamic Boarding School implements a diniyah curriculum based on the Manhaj Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah ala Fahmi Salaf — the understanding and methodology of the Prophet's companions, their followers, and the followers of the followers.

This diniyah curriculum is systematically and progressively structured, covering essential Islamic subjects sourced from the Qur’an and Sunnah and explained by the scholars of the Salaf. It is directly guided by qualified asatidzah who adhere to sound creed and methodology.

  • 3. Usul al-Fiqh: Introduction to the structured methodology of deriving Islamic rulings.
  • 4. Hadith: Studying legal hadiths from sources such as 'Umdatul Ahkam and cultivating love for the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
  • 5. Musthalah Hadith: Understanding the principles and rules used to assess the authenticity of hadith, both in terms of chain (sanad) and content (matan).
  • 6. Tafsir: Gaining deep insight into the meanings, rulings, and wisdoms of the Qur’an.
  • 7. Usul al-Tafsir: Studying the principles and methods of interpreting the Qur’an correctly.
  • 8. Seerah: Learning the life history of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions, from birth to death.
  • 9. Arabic Language: Covering grammar (nahwu), morphology (sarf), vocabulary (mufradat), and rhetoric (balaghah) to understand Islamic texts effectively.
  • 10. Tahfizh and Tajweed: Intensive memorization of the Qur’an and improving recitation in accordance with tajweed rules.
  • 11. Adab and Akhlaq: Instilling Islamic character based on the teachings of the Salaf and the noble conduct of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
